Getting Around

Chelsea is only 3 miles from Boston's Logan International Airport.  You can get to and from Logan by cab and public transportation (MBTA bus and Blue Line subway).

In 2016, a new Silver Line route will link Chelsea to Logan Airport.
MBTA connect Chelsea to Downtown Boston, East Boston, and beyond.  The following buses serve Chelsea:
#111-Woodlawn or Broadway & Park to/from Haymarket Station, Boston via Mystic River/Tobin Bridge. Connects to the Green & Orange subway lines at Haymarket.
#112-Wellington Station to/from Wood Island Station via Mystic Mall & Admiral's Hill.  Connects to the Blue subway line (Wood Island, E. Boston) & Orange subway line (Wellington, Medford) & Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail.
#114-Bellingham Square to/from Maverick Station, E. Boston.  Connects to the Blue subway line at Maverick.
#116-Wonderland Station, Revere to/from Maverick Station, E. Boston.  Connects to the Blue subway line at Maverick and Wonderland (last stop).
#117-Wonderland Station, Revere to/from Maverick Station, E. Boston.  Connects to the Blue subway line at Maverick and Wonderland (last stop).
Chelsea is just 14 minutes by Commuter Rail from Boston's North Station.  The Newburyport/Rockport line stops at Chelsea immediately before its final stop at North Station, where you can connect to the Green and Orange subway lines.

A number of taxi companies serve Chelsea.  Going from Chelsea to Logan Airport, you should ask for a flat rate, which should be approximately $15 before tip.
