What to Do

Chelsea Public Library: The Chelsea Public Library is located in the heart of the city in historic Bellingham Square, one block from the newly-opened Chelsea campus of Bunker Hill Community College. The current library was built in 1910 as a gift of Andrew Carnegie. It replaced the old library, which had been donated by Eustace C. Fitz, when it was destroyed by the Great Chelsea Fire of 1908, which engulfed nearly half the city.
